League Foundation helps fund and supply the essential medicines used during our missions so that volunteer doctors, dentists, and other professionals can properly care for the people we serve. Through partnered companies and generous supporters, we secure the medications needed to treat pain, infections, and other urgent conditions found in underserved communities.
In the areas we visit, medicine is often costly and difficult to obtain. Many families must choose between seeking medical care or ensuring there is food on the table and a roof over their children’s heads. As a result, some go years without seeing a doctor simply because they cannot afford the visit or the prescriptions that follow.
By funding and bringing these medicines directly to the community, League Foundation helps remove one of the biggest barriers to care. This allows our volunteers to treat immediate needs and provide relief to individuals who would otherwise continue to suffer in silence.
